KCCI to Host ‘Trade Dispute Response Forum’ on March 11


The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and international dispute funding advisory firm LITIG Equity Partners will hold the 2026 Global Trade Dispute Response Forum on March 11 at the KCCI headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul. The forum aims to comprehensively address strategies for responding to international disputes and financing options that Korean companies should consider when pursuing overseas business and investment.


In the first session, Sejin Kim, a foreign attorney and former director of the Trade Dispute Response Division at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, will present on “The Global Trade Landscape Surrounding Korea’s Key Industries.” Sungjoong Kim, attorney at Kim & Chang, will discuss “Legal Response Strategies for Trade Investigations, International Contracts, and ITC (U.S. International Trade Commission) Disputes.”


The second session will feature Taeheon Lee, attorney at LITIG Equity Partners, who will speak on “International Trade Dispute Risks for Korean Companies and Strategies for Utilizing Third-Party Funding (TPF).” Mitchell Dearness, investment manager at Omni Bridgeway, will introduce “Global Corporate Cases of TPF Utilization and Risk Management.”
